New trains launched on Katra-Srinagar route: A new travel experience

Indian Railways has made a big announcement for the passengers and tourists of Jammu and Kashmir. Three new trains will be launched on the Katra-Srinagar route by the end of January 2024. • The first train will be Vande Bharat Express, which will run between Katra and Srinagar.
• The other two trains will also be express, which will be announced soon.

List of stations between Delhi to Katra and Srinagar:

Vande Bharat Express will stop at 7 stations in between.

These stations are: Samban, Banihal, Bari Brahmana, Katra, Qazikund, Chenani and Baramulla.

Timings and routes of new trains

Delhi to Katra

• Ujjain Mail: Will leave Delhi at 8:00 am and reach Katra at 9:15 am.
• Sampark Kranti: Will leave Delhi at 8:55 am every day and reach Katra at 7:55 am.
• Vande Bharat Express: Will leave Delhi at 6:00 am 6 days a week and reach Katra at 2:05 pm.

Katra to Srinagar

• Vande Bharat Express will leave Katra at 8:10 am and reach Srinagar at 12:10 pm.
• Travel time will be around 4 hours, making it the fastest service.
